I don’t believe in creating content specifically for Pinterest. I believe in strategically repurposing content from other platforms and your blog for Pinterest, BUT if you want to be an A+ Pinterest creator without too much additional work… here’s what I suggest.

Pin This For Later:

What To Do When You Film Reels/Tiktoks:

1. Film whatever you have planned
2. Save the video without music & text overlays (but can keep voiceover if that’s the plan)
3. Take photo of whatever the reel is about (i.e., if it’s a try on, take a photo of the outfit or you in the mirror + if it’s a beauty tutorial, take a picture of the final look)
4. Save the reel with text overlay (but no music)

All of this content can be used as Pinterest Idea Pins, Video Pins, and Static Pins!

When Shooting Content With A Photographer:

1. Save all additional images even if you don’t use them on Instagram or your blog because those can be repurposed and used on Pinterest
2. Film a short clip of your outfit or of whatever you’re shooting

BONUS TIP: Create a blog post out of it and it doesn’t have to be a full-fledged blog post. These fresh links are just a place to send people from Pinterest and your site is always better than social channels and/or affiliate platforms.

Add affiliate links, a place for them to subscribe to your newsletter and a link to a relevant full-fledged blog post in that post to keep them connected longer.

Repurpose with all of the above routes and custom graphic templates.
