If you aren’t using Tailwind in your Pinterest Marketing strategy to help you work smarter, not harder – here’s another sign why you SHOULD ASAP: Tailwind Ghostwriter.
Tailwind is a social media scheduling tool. I use it for all my clients (but don’t use anything other than Pinterest on it… I use Later for IG).
They created Ghostwriter, AI-generator for writing captions and other social media writing. Pretty sure it’s in beta right now. Ghostwriter takes what you add and helps create “keyword-rich, natural-sounding copy for digital marketing.”
It’s a pretty genius idea since descriptions are one of the biggest roadblocks for people when it comes to using Pinterest.
Here’s how to use Tailwind Ghostwriter:
If you’re a DIY Pinterest person then I would definitely give it a shot BUT know that you still need to have a handle on Pinterest SEO (finding the right keywords for your content) in order for it to be successful. It can take those keywords and string them together prettyyyy naturally (or at least enough so that you just have to tweak it) BUT it doesn’t supply the keywords for you.
You need to have researched and planned that out > plug them into Ghostwriter > tweak to sound more like you.
So far, I’ve found it’s useful when I’m having a bad spout of writer’s block/am sleepy/need some inspo… which totally makes it faster because otherwise I stare at the screen waiting for the words to come to me.
It still takes the same amount of time to research keywords for each post though sooo it doesn’t save like HOURS but maybe a minute or two per pin 🤷🏻♀️ which honestly isn’t bad.
If you don’t want to do the keyword research or learn Pinterest SEO, hiring us probably is more your jam BUT if you have the time/interest, definitely play around with it and report back with what you think please!!
